We've got concrete pouring in (literally) daily now. It takes a lot to make the alleys, the raised area where the waterbeds will be installed, and the feed lane down the middle. They are also working in the milking parlor to add the additional 8 milking stations. I think it's amazing that two guys will be able to milk 1200 cows in 8 hours (three time a day)! looks like some major progress is being made! We'll have to pay a visit the next time we're home!
So, are you going to have 1200 cows total then? Are you buying up new cows to fill up the space now?
Nope, we have enough young stock and other parts of the barns are getting over crowded. Pat says there will be 200 calves born Oct-Nov...Whoa!
Adia and John are so cute holding hands. It sounds like you guys are working your bums off!
