MN State Fair 2011

Pat and I and our kids, and our neighbor Rob and his kids went to the Minnesota State Fair the first day it opened! It was a beautiful day, and we had a blast. We walked all over looking at different things...and eating things. We ate fresh fries, bacon on a stick, mini-donuts, corn dogs, funnel cake, ice cream sundaes, and steak sandwiches. Rob also had alligator on a stick, and salmon on a stick. ew.

We visited all the animal barns, rode rides at the Kidway, watched the parade (I had flashbacks from high school marching band-SO h.o.t), and played midway games. The kids won a bunch of stuff, and Pat won them some big stuffed animals. We were looking for coin dozer, but they didn't have it! Bummer.

It was a big day of family fun, thanks Minnesota!
Oh yeah, baby.

Then we headed into the Swine Barn. Our kids are used to seeing cows, but they were SO excited to see some piggies! Adia took all these pig pictures.

This guy won Biggest Boar

Do you see what I see? (yikes)

Of course we had to hit up the Kid Way!
