Memorial Weekend 2011

We spent Memorial Day weekend at Russell Memorial Park in Hatfield, WI as we do every year. Our neighbor Rob and his kids Taylor and Henry also came with. Our neighbors on the other side at home also made came with on their first camper trip! You know your neighbors must like you when they also vacation on the weekends with you!!

It was a beautiful weekend. No rain, so we got lots of bean bags, beach, and bike riding in. I also brought a fun face painting kit I picked up at Michael's and painted faces, arms, and legs for all this kids (and one adult, lol). I didn't get any pictures, though, since my hands were busy. It was a hit! Pat's parents also drove down for a day to try the pork butt we had on our Green Egg Grill. The pork was delicious!

There is an ice cream shop by the beach, so the kids look forward to the 15 flavors to pick from. However, they seem to only choose the same 3 all the time.
