Our Little Adia Mae turned 6 years old this April. Her birthday was on a Saturday this year (just like when she was born), and she wanted to celebrate with her first "friend" party. Adia chose a SpongeBob Hula theme, and well, Mom when crazy turning the garage into Bikini Bottom. We really went all out for her. :)
The Whole Crew
Party #1: From 11am-2pm we entertained 20 Kindergartners! As each guest arrived Adia gave them a Hawaiian Lei. We rented a bounce house with a slide, and of course that was a total hit. We played Pin on the Jellyfish game, had a hula hoop competition, and no party would be complete without a pinata. We had a limbo stick, but in all the excitement, it was forgotten. For lunch the kids had Hawaiian Pizza and Fruit Kabobs. We served cupcakes and ice cream cups for desert. At the end Adia gave each guest a tropical favor box and a balloon. We were really nervous about the weather, since this time of year is usually cold and rainy. We we very happy it was a warm beautiful day for the kids to enjoy outside. Everything was perfect!

Party #2: 5pm-1am
At five the rest of our families, neighbors, and a few friends came to celebrate. We grilled steaks and hotdogs for this meal. This party was more laid back, and we just hung out and enjoyed the end of an amazing day celebrating our Adia!
