Hayward KOA
We spent the weekend at the KOA in Hayward with Delbert, Charlene and their kids Autumn and Beau. Our neighbors Rob and Leslie and their kids Taylor and Henry also joined us for a night. This was our first trip to this campsite with our family, and we really had fun. So much that we are going back next weekend with my Dad and Lori! It was Chocolate Weekend, so there were fun activities like a Chocolate Slip'n'Slide, Chocolate Pudding Eating Contest, and Chocolate Chip Pancakes. The next time we go it is Wet 'n Wild weekend, so we are bring the super soakers! I was also thinking about going in August for Pirate Weekend-there is a nighttime flashlight treasure hunt for the little kids. I think my kids would LOVE that!
The sites were a little small, but they were nice pull-through ones with FULL hook-ups! This is a wonderful thing when you are camping because you are not checking "tank levels" all weekend! We enjoyed all the water/sewer/electric we could! We rode bikes, walked the dogs, swam in the heated pool, played mini-golf, bounced on the Jump Pillow, played on the playsets, Had ice cream at the Ice Cream House, Ate breakfast at the "Red Pine" (which is like a mobile fair stand), and my French Toast was awesome! Plus I got the morning off of cooking. :)
We love camping because it is 100% Family Time, and what is better than that? Nothing.
