On the plane flying to Tampa Florida
We went to an Italian restaurant the hotel recommended
I found a great deal online, so we got a 2 bedroom suite. This was the kids room.
Busch Gardens was AWESOME!
Pat and Adia are in the second row
Adia wore her "chunk" sandals, and just made the height requirement for the roller coasters!
She rode the new Cheetah roller coaster 2 times with Pat, and once with me. I almost chickened out, and got out of line, but I wanted to be brave like my 7 year old! It was SO fun.
There were hardly any lines, and there was so much for all our kids to do. Adia rode the big rides with Daddy, and there were tons of rides in Seasame Street village for all three. There were even tiny kid rides that Adia and John were too big for! We spent hours exploring. I also found a deal online that got us free food/drinks wrist bands. We will be back!
We were thinking we would take the kids to Epcot, since we did Magic Kingdom last year, but the night before we decided to do Magic Kingdom again. We were so glad we did. It was a totally different experience this year. We rode a few favorite rides like "It's A Small World" and "Peter Pan", but we did new bigger kid rides, especially Pat and Adia who went on ALL the biggest rides. We saw both the day parade, and since we stayed later we also saw the night electric parade-very cool.
Our kids were troopers. We were there for like 11 hours, and no one even napped!
After Disney, we drove to Ft. Myers Beach, Florida for the week.
Of course we had to stop at the Harley Store along the way, so Daddy could add to his t-shirt collection!
The swing set was right outside our door
Sanibel Island
As a day trip, we went to Sanibel Island (which we can see from our hotel beach). We found TONS of beautiful shells on Sanibel Island. We got there right away in the morning and found public parking easily right by the beach. It is slow walking because the kids stop and pick up every shell that catches their eye. This was definitely a dream come true for me. I've dreamt about watching my children collecting shells on the beach, and it was wonderful.

Pat took Adia and John each to a Twin's pre-season game. On John's turn he was lucky enough to have Joe Mauer roll a ball to him across the dugout at the end of the 4th inning!
The kids spent the second half of the week in the pool. John did his very first swimming on his own here in Florida. These kids are fish...we need a pool at home!
Goodbye Florida!
As we did the year before, we ended our vacation by checking out and stopping at the Adventure Golf. This year we went to the Pirate Cove.
